Cold snap impacting flights from Dublin and UK airports

Temperatures set to drop to -7 degrees

As Met Eireann predict the cold snap is set to continue until Friday next with temperatures likely to fall to -7 degrees.

Irish air commuters are warned to check their flight schedules on Dublin Airport website and with their flight providers. 

UK airports have now been hit by the frosty weather and fog. Cancelled flights to the UK include Glasgow, London LCY, Edinburgh and Birmingham. Also fights to Kerry and Boston, USA.

Flights to Newquay and Manchester are reported delayed, as are outgoing flights to European destinations Toulouse, Munich, Warsaw and Madrid.

Met Eireann further warns that as the cold spell is set to continue, motorists and those using public transport should also factor in delays in difficult driving conditions.
