The summer horse racing season reaches its pinnacle event this weekend with the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival which takes place this weekend at the Curragh Racecourse. The highlight of the big international festival is the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, one of the most prestigious races in the world, which takes place this year on Sunday next, July 2 and will be broadcast to over 60 countries worldwide.
Off track of course, the main event is the annual Dubai Duty Free style competition in association with the K-Club which will see one lucky winner head to the hotel and then onto Dubai for their holidays!

The Fashion Council i.e. the judging panel includes Lottie Ryan and Dancing With The Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian, Breeda McLoughlin (wife of Dubai Duty Free’s Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, Colm McLoughlin), and renowned fashion editor Bairbre Power.
What’s up for grabs for the best dressed: the prize includes return flights for two to Dubai with five nights at the luxury, five-star The Jumeirah Creekside – luxury is not the word, along with a two-night stay at the K Club! That’s the prize for the most glam lady selected – and for the best dressed gent, there is also a two-night stay along with €1,000!
