Eight crazy friends set off from Oranmore in Co.Galway in a bid to run 200km to Dublin in a Coast 2 Coast Challenge with the hope of raising €200,000 in aid of Irish Wheelchair Association and Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.
The eight men are friends Brian, Daragh, Henry, Ger, Paul, Stephen, Damien and Shane. “We’re running over 200km from the coastal town of Oranmore in Galway all the way back to the coast in Dublin, our Coast to Coast Challenge … we have chosen to fundraise for Irish Wheelchair Association and Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.

All funds raised, will go directly to these great organisations to support the amazing work they do. We hope you can help by donating whatever you can. We would like to thank everyone who has donated so far,” says Henry Fleming the leader of the group.

The guys ran through the night in order to complete their challenge ending up in Dublin early morning where members of Irish Wheelchair Association will be waiting to greet and congratulate them as they look forward to a well deserved rest.
