Balbriggan & District Historical Society will focus on the local dramatic society’s 75th anniversary this week with a talk by Grainne Maguire titled ‘Celebrating 75 years of Balbriggan Dramatic Society ‘. The venue will be the Bracken Court Hotel Balbriggan, time: 8pm on Wednesday next, October 26.
Grainne will speak about the fascinating history, 75 years, of Balbriggan Dramatic Society.
“Grainne is very well known to all in Balbriggan from her work as a councillor and in the community, particularly with the Balbriggan Summerfest and the Dramatic Society and she has been a familiar face in their productions for many years,” said Bernie Kelly, PRO for Balbriggan & District Historical Society.

“We will also have short presentations from the local history students from Loreto Secondary school who were winners in a competition the Society is proud to sponsor. These talks are always really interesting. Please spread the word with neighbours and friends.”
