Two men and a woman charged in relation to €78k+ find of suspected herbal cannabis

Yesterday, Friday June 2, gardaí arrested two men in their 20s and a woman in her 30s as part of an ongoing investigation. The two men and woman were all charged Friday evening and station bailed to appear at Wicklow District Court at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 20 next.

The investigation was part of an intelligence led operation targeting persons suspected to be involved in an organised crime group operating in Wicklow, an operation was conducted by Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Wicklow and Bray District Drugs Unit and personnel from Revenue Customs Service.

During the course of this operation, Revenue officers seized suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €78,768.
