Following the discovery of a body in Howth over a week ago, gardaí announced yesterday afternoon that the missing person appeal for Michael Griffin, has been stood down.
No further information is available at this time. “We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter,” stated a spokesperson for the Garda Press Office.
The 66-year-old was last seen around Lord Edward Street (D2) and was thought to be heading towards O’Connell Street. May he rest in peace, amen.
