It was great to see Heidi Bedell (manager Baldoyle Community Hall) presenting a cheque for €1,200 euro to Gene Murphy, a volunteer from, writes Rose Barrett.
The amount was raised at the recent Baldoyle Annual 30th Art Exhibition from the sales of the paintings, raffle, donations and postcards sale.
“A huge thank you to all the artists and people who came down and supported the event. Also to Joan Hopkins and Liz Turner, who are part of the team from Baldoyle Community Hall and John Flanagan (one of our fantastic volunteers) were also there to help pass over the cheque to Gene Murphy,” Said a spokesperson for the hall committee. Well done to all.
