Balbriggan Beach has introduced brand-new volleyball nets, a first for Fingal County Council, writes Rachel Cunningham.
This initiative aims to encourage community engagement, promote an active lifestyle and support the growth of volleyball in the area.
A collaborative effort between Fingal County Council and Volleyball Ireland, the nets will provide an opportunity for individuals and teams to enjoy the sport of volleyball in a picturesque beach setting.
“We are delighted to see Balbriggan Beach equipped with volleyball nets,” said Councillor Adrian Henchy, Mayor of Fingal.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to enhancing recreational opportunities and fostering a sense of community in Fingal.
“The addition of volleyball facilities will encourage physical activity, bring people together, and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of Balbriggan Beach.”
