Abrakebabra brought its magic to East Wall with a special in-store celebration for Abra fans and the East Wall community.
The ribbon was officially cut by East Wall Mayor and owner of the new eatery Muhammad Sajjad and Lar Keogh, Acting Principal St Joseph’s Co-ed. Primary School, East Wall. Lar and his wife Yavanna, founders of Oscar’s Kids, appeared on the Late Late Show (Ryan Tubridy’s last show) on Friday week to share the story of their late son Oscar who passed away from cancer in July 2019.

Presenter Ryan Tubridy revealed at the end of the segment that they were donating €20,000 to their charity.

East Wall Mayor and owner of the new eatery Muhammad Sajjad says: “I am delighted to bring Abrakebabra to East Wall. I want to thank everyone for coming along and showing their support on the day. This is such a vibrant and close knit community and we are thrilled to be part of it.”

The party atmosphere was kicked off with a DJ along with special giveaways of exclusive Abrakebabra merch, prizes and tasters from the menu including its iconic doner kebabs – Actor Colin Farrell’s personal favorite, as he famously showcased his coveted black Abrakebabra card on the Jimmy Kimmel show, saying, “The Pope doesn’t have one. I can bring the Pope for a free kebab because that’s what I get!”
