Skerries favourite patisserie changing business model

Le Patissier are a family owned patisserie business, producing handmade desserts and patisserie from a purpose built kitchen in Mulhuddart.

Chef and owner Robert Bullock set up the business in 2012 from his kitchen counter in Skerries. Featuring on Dragons Den in 2013, he failed to get investment and the parting words from Gavin Duffy were “I don’t think this pie is going to rise”.. Gavin fortunately was wrong with his prediction and Robert has successfully grown the business ever since.

COVID 19 – Changing the Business Model

6 weeks ago, in response to the loss of their wholesale business overnight, Le Patissier launched a new online shop offering their award winning patisserie, cakes and desserts to consumers across the County of Dublin. Initially offering a collection service, then opening up deliveries to 3 days a week. Thursday to Saturday. The collection service is still available Monday to Friday.

The demand for quality produce, made with only the finest of ingredients including Irish dairy and Tipperary cream cheese, delivered to your front door has proved too tempting for Dublin consumers.
