Audi has just launched a major revision to their best-selling A4 Saloon and Avant (Estate) models.
New design language makes the Audi A4 even sportier and more sophisticated than ever before.
Almost every exterior part has been modified for this update, and the result is truly outstanding.
When viewed from the front, the revised A4 is graced with a lower, wider grille, giving the car a more sporty appearance.
Also new are the headlights with their distinctive LED daytime running light design, while a revised bumper completes the sporty look.
With its side profile, the revised car benefits from a lower shoulder line running across the doors, with a higher line in the front and rear wings – thereby creating a dramatic look when viewed from various angles.
The rear of the revised car is adorned with a new light design – with a connecting line (which is bright, or dark depending on the model chosen) – along with a new bumper with chrome trim.
Mild hybrid technology in the A4 provides broad-based electrification of the engines.
Covering the entire engine range, drivers experience a significant increase in comfort and efficiency.
The engine line-up in the revised A4 features petrol (190PS to 245PS) or diesel (163PS to 347PS).
With torque across the range from 320Nm to a massive 700Nm, the revised A4 really is the last word in fast, comfortable, stylish ‘premium’ motoring.
I attended the international press launch of the revised Audi A4 in Bolzano, Italy, and was able to experience the car first-hand on a variety of Italian roads.
The stunning scenery around Bolzano offered the perfect backdrop to the equally stunning Audi A4, and the car performed remarkably well on the winding roads and fast motorways on the variety of test routes available.
The revised A4 is due in Audi showrooms from September.
