Dublin candle company The Little Wax Co is to partner with two Irish charities for May.
Jigsaw specialises in young peoples mental health and Bodywhys, the Eating Disorders Association of Ireland, will be the beneficiaries. During this month, 100 per cent of the sales of a limited edition wax melt in the scent Urban Musk will go to the two charities.
Marc Herbert from The Little Wax Co explained the collaboration: “We’ve become very aware of the challenges some families face and wanted to offer support in our own way. The two charities were chosen by two of the most incredible young girls close to us, who use the services and support offered by both Bodywhys and Jigsaw.”
He added: “The limited edition wax melt was also chosen by these two incredible young girls, they wanted a fragrance which had a citrus scent as this is known for its mood lifting effects. They also wanted to finish the wax melt with a yellow bow which signifies hope. The Urban Musk wax melt blends notes of citrus with soft woody tones and touches of basil, cardamom, red pepper and leather.”
The Little Wax Co was started in 2018 by mum of 5 Amy and her eldest daughter Taighlor and launched as a business a year later. Since then the company has grown and has become a household name in the scents industry in Ireland. Many of their popular scents sell out, in particular their Christmas range. The family run business is based out of North County Dublin and specialises in high-end luxury home fragrances.
The Urban Musk wax melt is available now at thelittlewaxcompany.ie and is priced at €5.95 per pack.
