SPIN1038 and SPIN South West yesterday launched SPIN Xtra, a new 24/7 digital streaming service.
Streaming in the SPIN app and on SPIN1038.com and SPINSOUTHWEST.com, SPIN Xtra brings listeners an ad-free urban music alternative, playing fresh artists that have never been heard before on Irish radio along with current favourite artists.
While the SPIN Xtra stream will play uninterrupted fresh hits from the likes of Drake, Stefflon Don, Kendrick Lamar and Cardi B, the exclusive SPIN Xtra Facebook group will keep listeners informed about new music releases, gig announcement, artist news and competitions.
Listeners can access the SPIN Xtra stream nationwide in app as well as on the SPIN websites and more information on the new service can be found here.
Speaking about the launch, CEO of SPIN1038 and SPIN South West, Keith McCormack said: “We know there is a desire for new music in Ireland, listeners want easy access to a service that will keep them ahead of the curve with new music.
“SPIN Xtra is their new destination for non-stop fresh music that’s specially selected and presented to them across all of SPIN’s digital platforms. Simply press play – the SPIN team have done all the work”.
